At this point in time in my life, I had just received my dream modeling contract with Wilhelmina in Conshohocken and in my head I was not that sick. I was struggling with the idea of having a bone marrow transplant because I felt like I would never achieve my dreams again. I also struggled with the idea of a transplant because I saw myself as Sickle Cell, and not as a woman who has Sickle Cell.
In this video, I had just received a call from my mother telling me that Emory was ready to go to the next step of the transplant process with me. This video is my honest reaction to the news.
